Grounded

Grounded by George Brant is a gripping monodrama performed in English. The play follows a skilled fighter pilot whose career takes an unexpected turn when she becomes pregnant. Reassigned to operate military drones from a remote base in Nevada, she struggles with the stark contrast between the adrenaline-fueled combat in the skies and the isolating reality of waging war from behind a screen. The play explores the psychological toll of modern warfare and the civilian casualties and innocent victims often overlooked in conflict. As she navigates duty, motherhood, and the increasingly blurred line between the battlefield and home, she is forced to confront the emotional costs of remote combat. = Læs mere

Benched

Take a seat! Sit down! You are benched! Taken off! Put together! Are you sitting in the right place?

A raw and honest story about life’s big and small questions. About settling in. About daring to sit askew, to sit across, to be placed, taken off, or benched. About taking, creating, and giving space—and preferably remembering to do so before you fall on your ass where the bench ends. = Læs mere

Samba

Welcome inside the pig’s blood-red fantasy! A samba arena, a circle, a breeding ground, a pigsty. A circus of celebrations, secrets, communities, and temptations.

SAMBA is raw and urban. SAMBA is pulsating and sensual. SAMBA is mischief and togetherness. SAMBA is everything that emerges in the space between us. SAMBA wants to get under the skin, behind the mask, around the arena, and give body and space to everything we are. Here, nothing is black and white—neither the sweetest sow nor the biggest hog.

With our snouts in the trough and tails in the air, we dig deep into the pigsty and throw ourselves into the community, with everything it entails—misunderstandings, compromises, and the art of balance.= Læs mere

Batty Bwoy

Batty Bwoy is a solo performance created and performed by Harald Beharie in collaboration with Karoline Bakken Lund, Veronica Bruce, Jassem Hindi, and Ring van Möbius.

By reclaiming the Jamaican term Batty Bwoy (from butt boy), a derogatory slang word for a queer person, Beharie explores myths to evoke demonic sensibilities and enchanting cruelties, where vulnerable possibilities emerge in the tension between awareness and naivety. In doing so, the joy and horror of Batty Bwoy are exposed, deeply rooted in queer Blackness.

The absurdity of queer monstrosity is explored in Batty Bwoy, where dance is used to highlight the porosity of both body and language. Mouths swallow and regurgitate bodily fictions, projected onto their skin. = Læs mere
